The first part of our Africa 2025 Adventure for All will take you to new heights as we explore Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak! Ascending up the Machame Route, also known as the Whiskey Route, recognized for its steep paths, we will journey through magnificent forests that lead to a ridge through the Moorland Zones and Shira Plateau. Then, we will traverse beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice Fields to join the Barafu Route to the Mt. Kilimanjaro Summit at 19,341 feet! Don’t worry about carrying your stuff up the mountain top, all you’ll need to carry in your day pack is rain gear, an extra layer of clothes, water and snacks.
